March 18 2017 was a huge day in the Bay of Plenty.
The Little Big Events team had an unusually dewy early morning start in preparation for the monthly Papamoa Little Big Markets. As the sun came up, I reached for my first coffee of the day, pressed the switch on the bouncy castle, it just felt like an awesome day.
Feast. is series of holistic health workshops run through Wild One Wholefoods in collaboration with local like minded businesses. Bi-monthly people come together to learn about methods that help to heal and preserve their own bodies- be it in mind, body, soul or the world around us. After a one of a kind, uniquely tailored workshop they feast. Each evening being designed especially for the specific collaboration; from the styling and location to the three course meal.
Recently we were contacted by the wonderful Shay from Shop Small. Her philosophy is simple "It’s about building a community and showing you who you are supporting when you shop local".
A couple of weeks back, both Chris and I were able to experience a wonderful "childless" night out at the first "Feast" at Wild One Wholefoods Eatery.
Whilst I LOVE all things art & design, my love for vegan food it out of this world!
When I'm not at Little Big Events' HQ, I'm studying hard for my Bachelor of Creative Industries. With only one semester to complete it's all go!
The Rising Tide has now been officially opened and what once seemed as daunting a task as running a quarter mile in nothing but a pair of jandals, is now a distant memory as a satisfying sense of accomplishment washes over us like a bottle of Mount Brewing Co's finest amber ale.

Tauranga’s Rialto Cinema has been hosting the Italian Film Festival this last week and I was lucky enough to catch Bella Vita, a truly enchanting documentary about the beauty of Italy and its unique surf culture.
I've known the Mount Brewing Co range of beers on an intimate level for a number of years now, the Blowhole Pale Ale, Mermaids Mirth and even the Manuka Hussy have always been there to talk to...or there simply to just quench my thirst after a hard day of doing nothing in the sun.
The Little Big Markets is a place where you can engage with many local creatives, and we as a team want to share with you our stall holders stories and how their products are designed and hand crafted, ready for market day.
With the launch of the Vegan Vibes Festival I'm one happy little vegan. I can't express just how amazing it is to be part of a team who support the vegan community and anyone that's interested in learning more about this ever growing movement. So what does Vegan Vibes have to offer? We're thinking street food, delicious food to take home, health and beauty products, clothing and footwear, workshops and so much more!
As we’ve expanded so has our team, and we really want our blog to reflect this. We live in such a vibrant and exciting community, that we want to be able to share some of this with everyone. So each week you’ll hear from one of us with something cool we’ve seen or want to share…
