The Rising Tide has now been officially opened and what once seemed as daunting a task as running a quarter mile in nothing but a pair of jandals, is now a distant memory as a satisfying sense of accomplishment washes over us like a bottle of Mount Brewing Co's finest amber ale.

With a lump in my throat I recall the camaraderie that was forged during the building project, the kind of brotherhood that occurs when you're tearing out 20yr old toilets by hand! I'm talking tight people! A real team!

Team. Team. Team. Team. Team. Team. I even love saying the word team. You probably think that I've got a picture of my family on my desk. Nope. It's the A Team. Body; Doyle; Tiger; The Jewellery Man. The whole lot of them. (thanks IT crowd)

Have I digressed? Anyway, the beer is certainly now flowing and you would do yourself a disservice if you didn't give yourself the opportunity to experience the sweet nectar that the 30+ taps offer, it's the Taj Mahal of beer offerings and in years to come will probably become as bigger tourist attraction. The food coming out of the kitchen by none other than Johney's Dumpling House would have someone like Gordon Ramsay blushing, no joke! It's that good...and don't get me started on the deck! Probably the biggest deck in town, and if you're thinking 'Geeze am I going to stay warm on a deck at this time of year?' well, the answer is gas my friend, as well as electric! That's right! The place is littered with heaters all to keep you nice and warm, thank-you, thank-you very much.

So with my limited experience in reviews, there you are! Get down there and check it out, support local and if you don't do it for it for the toilets man, because they're the flashiest ones in town! I mean where else offers you No3 soap on tap after a little quiet time.. eh? eh?...exactly!

Peace out!
