Saturday 19th December 2015, 2 - 9pm, Blake Park

Tauranga’s Christmas in the Park is our annual community focused Christmas fundraising event, which is now into it’s 5th year!

Our aim is to create a great opportunity for the community to come together before Christmas and enjoy a full day of entertainment. We want to encourage community spirit and ‘giving back’ to enable us to support local charities and community groups who are working with families and children, as well as individuals who may need some extra help.

For a gold coin entry you'll get to enjoy a pre-Christmas event filled with live music, performances, artisan arts and craft as well as some delicious food and drink.

Over the past two years alone the event has seen headline acts such as Tiki Taane, Anika Moa and Hollie Smith perform to over 25,000 people. We've raised over $20,000 for charity and have seen thousands of nonperishable food items and Christmas presents donated to the Tauranga Food Bank, Homes of Hope and Womens’ Refuge. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Come along this year to enjoy performances from Dave DobbynModern Māori Quartet, Julia Deans and Jayson Norris

So how can you help? As well as your gold coin donation, bring along a wrapped Christmas present and/or nonperishable food items to donate to one of the aforementioned charities. You can even contribute your time, services, goods or money by clicking on the contribute button below. And it doesn't stop there.....

Do you know someone who deserves an extra treat this year? Someone who is working hard fundraising to achieve a dream or goal? Or a local organisation that does great work you’d like to see receive some help? If someone you know fits the bill then click on the nominate button below! All nominations will be put forward to a selection committee, with the final lucky recipients being revealed on Sunday 20th December.  So keep an eye on our FaceBook page. Thanks!
